The Camping Trip

The following crapload of pictures were taken on the camping trip that I took with my friends, Steve Wanner and Erin Rutherford back in May, 2001. Many months were spent planning this whole trip including the building of two trailers to haul all of our stuff behind the bikes. The first week we spent at Bon Echo Provincial Park in Ontario. We got there at the beginning of the May 24 long weekend. The place was packed! They only had 2 spots left. We lucked out. Once the long weekend was over, we had the entire campground to ourselves. We were the only ones left. THAT was pretty cool. Then the second week we headed up to Algonquin Provincial Park also in Ontario. It was fairly busy on the weekend but during the week, it got pretty quiet. Fishing sucked the entire 2 weeks we were camping. Steve caught one tiny trout that wasn't big enough to put in a small fish tank, let alone try to eat it. He threw it back. This was the last two weeks of May and we had great weather the whole time. Only bad day we had was on the trip home. It poured rain most of the way. We got soaked. Ah, such is the life of bikers! Wouldn't trade it for anything else.

Just click on whichever picture you want to view or click on the first picture and you can go through all the pictures from there in my new easier to navigate picture viewer. There are a lot of pictures here. You may want to re-evaluate your life if you want to sit here and look at each and every one of these pictures. Of course, it's entirely up to you. Knock yourself out if you want.
