 Friday The 13TH June 2008 Well they predicted hot weather. They predicted chance of thunder storms. We got the heat but not the storms. Well they did come but not until we were long gone. So Tracy and I headed out fairly early on this long anticipated Friday The 13th. The traffic was thick with motorcycles heading down to Dover. It wasn't even 9 am yet and we were sweating as the temperatures started rising. We managed to get parked up the main street not too far from where we were last year. Bought lots of T-shirts and stuff. Walked around quite a bit. Tracy and I both got burnt to a crisp!! This year they were trying to get in the Guinness World Book Of Records for the most motorcycles. As of this writing, we don't know yet if we made it. Met up with Tracy's son, David, and his girlfriend. We came home at around 4 in the afternoon. We had a great time. Unfortunately next years Friday the 13Th lands in February and March then again in November. Brrrrr. Have to wait and see about the one in March.
